A man with a cart was making a fascinating rhythmic sound, so i stopped in my tracks on the sidewalk and captured him passing me. There is something oddly comforting with the sound. Take a listen here.

Church
This is my personal favorite recording that i captured. When walking past this church i could hear everything that was going on inside. I moved in closer to the church to get a better listen and this what i heard.

Dog Whine and Bells
I heard a dog whining and stopped to record it, by chance i also captured bells. The dog wasn't easy to find so i did the best that i could to stay still and hear it and move closer and closer until i thought i had the best recording. Take a listen here.

Flag and Drain
While walking on Prospect i noticed that the wind picked up significantly, and the flags were whipping along nicely. I tried to record various flags but to no avail. They were all to high and i received a lot of wind noise. Finally i found a flag that was lower to the ground that gave me an opportunity get close and capture it's sound better. There was a little drainage sewer next to it, and if you listen closely you can hear that too. Take a listen here.
Unfortunately this picture is a little outdated, but to the left of the runner where the bush is that is where they have recently put up some flags.

Wind Chimes
Upon walking on Franklin Pl, I overheard some very nice melodic wind chimes. i heard a lot of wind chimes on my walk, but these ones sounded so distinct. They sound more like real musical notes rather than just clanking of metal. I had a hard time finding them considering they weren't hanging from the porch. Take a listen here.

BONUS MATERIAL:
I couldn't find the wind chimes for the longest time, and i was absolutely baffled. I walked around the house to find them,it was dark and there was a man smoking in his backyard. I was embarrassed, but he didn't seem to mind. Listen here.

My Drift Strategy Map #1
The Drift strategy that i have chose to use is drawing a circle on the map and walking all of the streets inside of it. As you can see i mapped it out so that i weave the outside of the circle first and then eventually keep snaking the outsides until i reach the center, the end of my walk. I also mapped it so that i get as close to the edge of the circle as possible, so that means that i have to walk up one side of a street and then turn around and walk back on the other side. It should be a goodtime!
